Shown is a typical electric motor and gearbox drive arrangement coupled to a bearing pedestal. This drive is for a top entry mixer however, side and bottom entry units can be supplied should the application require these options. In most applications it is imperative to have bearing housing to protect the gearbox from high overhung loads generated during the mixing process.
